WARWICK - Adult students from Warwick’s MCC Actor Training School will perform scenes from two plays by the famous Russian playwright Anton Chekhov. The recital of scenes from “The Seagull” and “Uncle Vanya” will be Sunday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. at the Warwick Town Hall Senior Center, 132 Kings Highway. The free program, open to the public, is approximately an hour and 15 minutes. “The plays are both moving and funny and have something for everyone,” said MCC Director Donna Haley. “They are about the frustrations and foibles of everyday life: Desires, dreams, family and unrequited love.”
