Irish fun at Harness museum

Before the mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day parade begins, Irish standardbred mascot “Seamus McGee” will greet visitors St. Patrick’s Day open house and workshop on Sunday, March 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harness Racing Museum Hall of Fame in Goshen. Children can create a “Luck of the Irish” horseshoe pin and play the “Try Your Luck” horseshoe toss game, where kids will have the chance to win a prize. There will be hot tea or chocolate and a slice of traditional Irish soda bread. They can also ride on the 3D Harness Racing Simulator. Fee is $3 for children and adults are free.
