HIGHLAND MILLS — The Highland Mills United Methodist Church will mark Holy Week on Saturday, April 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., by re-enacting the last hours of Jesus Christ’s life.

The entire community is invited to witness and be part of it.

Held outdoors on the church grounds (Route 32 and Ridge Road), “Journey to the Cross” will demonstrate the real meaning of Easter for Christians, far beyond the candy and colored eggs. Attendees will re-live the last hours of Jesus’ life as He suffered on the cross, died - and was resurrected the next day - Easter Sunday.

In addition to this special Saturday, these are the Holy Week services at Highland Mills UMC. Everyone is invited to each:

Holy (Maundy) Thursday, April 5, 7:30 p.m. Worship service.

Good Friday, April 6, noon to 3 p.m. Church open for prayers and meditation.
