Events mark Sugar Loaf business anniversaries

    Sugar Loaf —The Bertoni Gallery and The Barnsider Restaurant are marking their anniversaries with events for their customers. Bertoni Gallery, which has been in business for 10 years, will offer refreshments and live music on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m., featuring singer/songwriter/guitarist Sarah Morr and a free techno dance party celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring DJ Ironhill of Ironhill Productions. Through Sept. 11, the gallery will give away free raffle tickets for every $10 purchase made in the store and will donate a $100 gift certificate for future purchases. It will also be donating a handmade sterling silver bracelet with 10 black diamonds similar to one recently featured in the movie, “The Back Up Plan.” The Barnsider, which has been in business for 30 years, will be giving free raffle tickets to anyone purchasing a special chef designated dinner on Saturday or Sunday nights. A hand cut, pieced and sewn blue and white checkered baby quilt and a gift certificate of dinner for two at the Barnsider are prizes. For more information call 469-0993.
