Campbell Hall — Orange AHRC will host a Classic Car Show on Sunday, Au. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the campus on Route 207 in Campbell Hall. Visitors can sample the home-cooked breakfast and lunch specials, shop the huge penny social, and stroll through acres of vehicles on display. A DJ will spin records throughout the charity event. Spectators are $2 per person, and car show pre-registrants can sign up by July 31 for $12. (Day-of-show registration is available for $15.) Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 cars, plus the judged show will award trophies galore. To pre-register, call show coordinator Lynn Sereta at 561-0670 or email lsereta@orangeahrc.org. George is a familiar face at the event every year as he handles the 50/50 raffle ticket sales. The Bonadio Group is the 2010 Orange AHRC Classic Show Sponsor. Sobel Affiliates is Awards Sponsor.
