Canvas and Staves at the library

Warwick — Canvas and Staves, a collection of oil and acrylic paintings by local artist Eileen Mastrogiacomo, is on display at the Albert Wisner Public Library through Jan. 30 in the gallery on the lower level. Mastrogiacomo is a local artist who enjoys painting scenes of her favorite vacation destination, Maine. She is self- taught and took up the artist’s brush after her retirement. She says that it all began with a painting instruction book that her husband, Stan, gave her. Now, many canvases and barrel staves later, she has an exhibit to share with the community.
