Bear Tales can be heard Sunday at museum

The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, in Cornwall, will present Black Bear Tales on Sunday, Nov. 14. Participants will learn about Orange County’s largest mammal, whose population has been expanding. Environmental Educator Carl Heitmuller will lead the program. Discussions will include: how to avoid bear conflicts, hibernation, bear biology and anatomy using bear skulls and pelts. This program is recommended for adults with or without children, and children ages 5 and older. Cost: $5 per person. Members: $3.
