Amity pottery workshop holiday sale is Dec. 3 and 4

Florida — The Amity Arts Pottery Workshop on Route 17A in Florida will hold its annual holiday sale on Dec. 3 and 4. The event is a cooperative effort of 10 clay artists who have either studied with Judy Duboff or work out of the studio. They will display one of a kind examples of their work in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and textures. An artist reception will take place on Friday, Dec. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. where visitors can meet all the artists and ask questions about their work. Highlights include the Mexico inspired creations of Judy Duboff; advanced design and glazing techniques of Mickey Haglund; and the facial images of Heidi Bilezikian; Emma Gonzalez-Laders will offer table settings, ornaments, and trays, vases and vessels. Diane Arcieri will offer clay sculptures; JoAnn Quattrone, a holistic healthcare practitioner, will offer her own healing balms and ointments in clay vessels; and Melissa Peterson will offer hand painted textured pieces using many glaze techniques. Additionally, Vicki Botta will offer tree-inspired, hand painted designs featuring forest green on white or natural speckled stoneware; and Lynne Ratti and Christine Jacobsen are also offering their pieces.
