Note of thanks to family, friends, and community

The first annual Walk For Justin - to bring awareness to suicide and its prevention - was held June 16 at the Monroe-Woodbury High School Track. It was a huge success, both by participation of more 400 walkers, numerous sponsors and donors, as well as financially – we raised approximately $20,000 to benefit the Justin T. Dimino Memorial Scholarship Fund at Monroe-Woodbury High School.

We were proud to award the first Scholarship to a graduating senior of the Class of 2012 to Kevin Egan, a member of the Crusaders Varsity Football Team and a teammate of Justin’s.

We wish to thank The Walk Committee, the sponsors, the merchants, the 2012 graduating class , the FBLA and Interact Clubs and staff of M-WHS – for without all of these individuals and the many, many walkers, the day would not have been one that will forever remain in our hearts and memory book/

We look forward to next year’s walk and sincerely thank the community for their support and spirit!
