Contributed by Marie Hafenecker, mother of the Captain’s Table’s Ray & Michael Heat oven to 375 degrees, lightly grease 9x5x3 loaf pan. 2 2/3 cups self rising flour 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 cup thinly sliced scallions 1 1/2 tsp. poultery seasoning mix well, add 12 oz. of beer Using a rubber spatula, stir just until mixed and completely moistened. Bake for 50-55 minute til lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 min. then cool on rack.
