Hospital board appoints new member
Middletown Orange Regional Medical Center has appointed Jonathan Rouis of Burlingham to its board of directors. Rouis serves as the vice chair of the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees. He represents the foundation's interests while working in collaboration with the hospital's board of directors. He is the managing partner at Rouis & Company CPAs, LLP, in Wurtsboro, where he focuses on corporate accounts across the region. He served on the Sullivan County Legislature for nine years, four years as vice-chair of the legislature and four years as chair. He once served as president of the Mamakating Rotary, a member of the Hudson Valley Advisory Board of TD Bank North, and a member of the advisory board of The Community Bank of Sullivan County. He currently serves as a member of Sons of the American Legion, a member of the New York State Association of Certified Public Accountants and is vice-chair of the Orange Regional board of trustees.
