John R. Ferrara

John R. Ferrara of Wurtsboro passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 61.

Son of Albert and Felicia Martone Ferrara, he was born Jan. 16, 1951, in the Bronx.

John shared his love of the arts and music with his wife and children. He was an avid Beatles and Atlanta Braves fan and rarely missed a game. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend.

John is survived by his wife Patty O’Dell Ferrara, who was also his best friend and “soul mate;” two sons: Anthony Ferrara of Monroe and Nicholas Ferrara of Middletown; and his daughter Allie and her husband Brian O’Rourke of Middletown.

John will be missed by many family members and friends as well as his cat “Little Lucy.”
