Jermaine Paul sells out this Saturday's Palaia Winery performance
HIGHLAND MILLS The publics craving to see Harriman resident Jermaine Paul perform live, as he continues to participate on the NBC reality show The Voice, is apparent with tickets quickly selling out for his intimate evening performance tomorrow, March 3, at the Palaia Winery in Highland Mills.
Event organizers said due to the rapid response, no more tickets are available for the show.
But those wanting to see Paul sing can catch him tonight, March 2, at 7 p.m., at the Castle Fun Center in Chester, for a free, family-oriented concert. There is a $10 required activity card purchase for any unaccompanied minor.
Paul returns to Los Angeles this month for the next round of competition and will work with country music star Blake Shelton and his team members vie to become The Voice. Paul picked Shelton to be his coach after having him and singer-songwriter, rapper and actor Cee Lo Green turn their chairs in his direction during his 90 second blind audition on Feb. 5, signaling their interest in mentoring him.
Monday evenings broadcast concluded with all 12 spots on the four teams filled.
At the end of Monday nights show, viewers saw a quick preview of what will take place next week, when the teams coached by Shelton, Green, Adam Levine, the front man and guitarist for the pop rock band Maroon 5, and singer-songwriter/actress Christina Aguilera begin preparing for the next phase of the competition.
During the second stage, called the battle phase, coaches have two of their team members battle against each other directly by singing the same song together, with the coach choosing which team member to advance from each of four individual battles into the first live round.
The show airs locally on WNBC/Channel 4 on Mondays at 8 p.m.
