Good afternoon, Woodbury residents,
I would like to take a moment to thank the community for your patience and understanding as we got through some refuse/recycling hiccups these past two weeks.
Many County Waste drivers are taking vacation time and substitute drivers were placed on the recycle route. The drivers are new and not acclimated with Woodbury.
This caused delays and they needed more time to finish the routes.
In addition to the above challenges, the newsletter system was not functioning for the past two weeks.
On my end the test worked; just not going out to each of you.
The website manager informed me there was a technical glitch on the back end and it has been fixed.
Thank you to the residents who contacted me and shared they were not receiving the newsletter. I believe in open communication and appreciate connecting with each of you.
