'We have a lot to be ... thankful of in the Town of Monroe'

    This past Sunday, Nov. 24th, Sacred Heart and the Town of Monroe were blessed to have His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan, perform Mass.

    The Mass included Cardinal Dolan's blessing of the tabernacle in its new location. The relocation of the tabernacle and other aesthetic changes which were the hard work and efforts of Sean Michael Mende and Boy Scout Troop 213 of Saddle Brook, N.J.

    Sean chose to perform the relocation and other enhancements as his Eagle Scout Project.

    Thanks to Father David Rider for arranging the ceremonial Mass and inviting His Eminence. It was wonderful to have Cardinal Dolan here for a celebratory occasion.

    Thank you to Sean for all your efforts in making an impact in the Town of Monroe. We are all appreciate of the dedication and hard work put into your Eagle Scout Project.

    We have a lot to be positive about and thankful of in the Town of Monroe.
