Tuxedo Teachers’ Association endorse Johanna Telander for school board

Johanna Telander is our choice for the Board of Education in the Tuxedo Union Free School District Election in June.

Each of the three candidates was invited to an in-depth interview with the Tuxedo Teachers’ Association (TTA) and the Tuxedo Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

The incumbent BOE member, Nancy Bourke, declined to be interviewed.

Interviewed were Joseph Rickard and Johanna Telander.

While Mr. Rickard presented a good case for the TTA’s endorsement, the TTA firmly supports Johanna's passion to make a difference with an ethical agenda that values collaboration between all stakeholders.

We support her enthusiasm for fostering energetic and creative ways to move forward together.

Mrs. Telander is the clear choice. The TTA wholeheartedly endorses her for the Tuxedo School Board
