Monroe CROP Hunger Walk seeks volunteers

| 31 May 2020 | 01:15

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, job losses have led to skyrocketing hunger and food insecurity in our neighborhoods.

Our food pantries are sorely pressed and in need of support.

Since 1997, every fall the Monroe CROP Hunger Walk has raised funds to support worldwide hunger-fighting efforts including five local food pantries in southern Orange County: Monroe Community Emergency Food Pantry; Monroe Presbyterian Church Food Pantry; Chester Community Food Pantry; Highland Mills United Methodist Church Food Pantry and Country Kids Food Pantry in Washingtonville.

To expand our outreach we could use more volunteer help.
