In response to Dr. Robert McCallum

Doctor, I am sorry that you are suffering with colon cancer and I wish you a speedy recovery.

However, I am amazed that you assumed that protesting people were Trump only, or bible-thumping, gun rights provocateurs.

In your shortsighted view you did not envision at these demonstrations the many entrepreneurs that lost or were on the verge of losing their businesses.

Were you able to see the men or women who lost their jobs and cannot pay their mortgage, rent, or buy food and prescriptions.

No, you only saw Trump supporters who you refer to as having the “gall to wave American flags”

The aforementioned persons I am sure were among the many Americans who you described as “deluded” that were taking part in their right to demonstrate. These people are suffering from this unprecedented situation through no fault of their own.

Doctor McCallum and anyone else, this is not a time to bring out partisanship and point damning fingers. This is a time to come together as a country and defeat this insidious virus.

Like you, doctor, there are many Americans who are facing “life and death” situations and decisions.
