English, Lindsay and May 'are beholden to no group and deserve our support'

The Independence party is supporting three candidates in the upcoming Town of Tuxedo election.

Two of the candidates are current Town Board members: Michele Lindsay, who has served with distinction on the board since January 2016, and Kenneth English, currently on the Town Board, who will be running for Town Supervisor.

Michele and Ken have dedicated themselves on the Town Board to educating the electorate on how local government works, leading the town board’s efforts toward economic development and recruiting new members for the appointed Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Dr. Maria May, a newcomer to local politics, is a distinguished public school educator and staff developer who works in the Suffern School District.

All three have led very successful non-political careers in the private and public sectors and are committed to honest government that welcomes citizen participation.

They are beholden to no group and deserve our support.
