    The constitution (Article 1, section 3) requires that a positive vote of two-thirds of senators present is required to convict in an impeachment trial.

    If 19 senators continue to feel that the trial is unconstitutional and therefore leave the chamber, the potential vote would be 54 to 27.

    Conviction confirmed.
