Monroe. Village of Monroe, working with Downtown Revitalization committee, asks residents to participate in a survey ‘on how best to support our community.’

| 29 Jul 2020 | 03:19

In an email dispatched to residents Wednesday afternoon, Village of Monroe Mayor Neil S. Dwyer asked for their help in determining the future of downtown Monroe.

“In 2018 Carey Alley, Dorey Houle and I ran on a platform of initiatives with Downtown Revitalization at the forefront,” Dwyer began. “With the help and support of Trustees Irene Conklin and Debbie Behringer, previous Boards of Trustees and members of the greater Monroe community led by Cristina Kiesel, chairwoman of the Downtown Revitalization Committee, we are very proud to present you with this survey to navigate us toward the proper course. It is our hope that each of you will take a few moments to share your thoughts on how best to support our community.”

“When good people come to the table,” the mayor said, “we can accomplish great things and, with a robust reply, success is guaranteed.”
