Sports return

Central Valley. Soccer, swim and drive, cross country, volleyball and football get underway; due to safety precautions, the high school will live stream the sporting events.

Tuesday, March 9 at Monroe Woodbury High School, On a beautiful On Tuesday afternoon, March 9, the Crusaders Fall Sports program swung into full gear as the teams were able to get out on to the fields and practice.

The sports will have a different look and feel this year with safety protocols in place for the athletes and the spectators.

But on Wednesday afternoon the Crusaders will take their first big step toward normalcy when the Girls JV and Varsity Soccer teams play host to the Dragons of Cornwall.

The Girls Swim and Dive team will get its season rolling on Thursday against the Dragons in a virtual meet.

On Friday the Volleyball team will take on Pine Bush while the Varsity Football team will host the Wizards of Washingtonville to start the season.

Due to the attendance restrictions in place, the High School has arranged for most of these sporting events to be live streamed. Please check the High School web site for more information.

It has taken a lot of time and planning to get our teams ready to start their fall sports programs lets hope that everything goes well as the Crusaders fall sports start back up.
