The Town of Monroe congratulates Richard Toledo on his achievement of Eagle Scout rank and his willingness to go above and beyond to make an impact on the community.
His project involved redoing the fencing and playground area at Sacred Heart Church’s preschool play area.
An Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony was held on Sunday, Jan. 5, at American Legion Post #488 in Monroe.
Richard is a graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School and is currently a freshman at Virginia Tech majoring in engineering.
