Right before Commencement, Mount Saint Mary College students shared and celebrated their original research through the inaugural DiSCoVeR program, a virtual showcase of student work.

Through coursework, clubs and service projects, Mount students are constantly innovating, researching and creating. The DiSCoVeR program is a way for the local and college communities to see the academic projects Mount students engage in on a daily basis.

The full DiSCoVeR program can be viewed at msmc.edu/discover.

Presentations are broken into several categories, including poster galleries, research posters, video presentations and research podcasts.

Topics include an introduction to neuroscience by Meghan Murphy of Sugar Loaf, Brittany Grammas of Walden, Mariana Giraldo of Middletown and Kathleen Murray of Highland Mills; “Art Therapy: How Art Can Help Individuals with Traumatic Experiences” by Emily Mazzurco of Middletown; and many video and art projects.
