Monroe-Woodbury hosts pep rally

Central Valley. Annual senior picnic and pep rally takes place on the football field.

On a warm Friday afternoon, the Crusaders held their annual Senior Picnic and Homecoming Pep Rally.

The Senior Class was served a picnic lunch down on the Athletic fields by members of the school staff. The seniors were able to play games and socialize for an hour or so before the Home Coming pep rally.

For the Pep Rally the freshman, sophomores, and junior class students joined the seniors and filled the entire football field complex. All of the Crusaders varsity fall sports teams were introduced the school chorus preformed beautifully. The senior class officers worked as host’s for the event and students and teachers representing the different grades competed in a variety of fun events.

The Crusader Cheerleaders preformed another flawless routine and were even helped out by members of the football team. The Pep rally was a success and the spirt carried over to the football game that nite as the stands were packed and the fans were loud as the Crusaders beat the Middie Bears of Middletown.
