    A 23-year-old Monroe man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and released on an appearance ticket for Nov. 4.

    Oct. 3

    Vicente Garcia-Castillo, 32, of Monroe, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 16, a felony, driving while intoxicated and with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more, misdemeanors. He was released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Oct. 4

    Yolin Hernandez-Alvarado, 21, of Monroe, was charged with false personation, driving while intoxicated, and with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more, misdemeanors. He was released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Henry Alvarado-Castillo, 29, of Monroe, was charged with false personation, a misdemeanor, and released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Andre McLeod, 39, of Highland Mills, was charged with an ignition-interlock violation and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors. He was released on an appearance ticket for Dec. 4.

    A 65-year man described by police as homeless was charged with disorderly conduct and an open-container violation. He was issued an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Oct. 5

    An 18-year-old male from Highland Mills was charged with false impersonation, a misdemeanor, and released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Taras Oliynyk, 28, of Monroe, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and issued an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Oct. 7

    John Kelemen, 40, of Florida, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors. He was released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.

    Mariah Myias, 22, of Newburgh, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. She was released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 21.
