Village of Monroe resident Junior Arius said he wanted to share some good news among the negative press that police are getting. “Recently my son and his friend made a lemonade stand and one of our local police officers stopped by and purchased five lemonades,” the Village of Monroe resident wrote in an email exchange with The Photo News. “I just thought it was so thoughtful of her and wanted to share this with our community.” Pictured are Police Officer Melissa Berke, Oliver Arius and Jackson Spreckman.
