Get that costume ready for the parade and other activities in Monroe on Sunday, Oct. 31 beginning at 11 a.m.

The day’s festivities kick off at the South Orange Family YMCA with a drive-thru trick or treat from 11 a.m. to noon. Then revelers can head on over to the Farmer’s Market on Millpond Parkway for the costume parade, which begins at 12:15 p.m. with a walk along the Heritage Trail to Smith’s Clove Park.

For a grand finale, there will be pumpkin painting, hayrides and other activities at the park from 12:30-3 p.m.
