If you don’t want salespeople or others who want something from you knocking at your door, the Town of Monroe can help with its newly expanded Peddling and Solicitation Registry.
All you have to do is fill out a registry form, available at the Monroe Town Clerk’s office, 1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe. Your address will be added to a list distributed to anyone or any company approved for a door-to-door permit. Once you’re registered, if a peddler or solicitor does appear at your door, the town will revoke their permit.
