Girl Scout Troop 307 holds pancake breakfast fundraiser

On Saturday, October 21, Monroe Girl Scout Troop 307 held a pancake breakfast fundraiser at Monroe Town Hall to raise funds for Gold Award projects by scouts Abby Cerillo and Sophie Marseille.
The Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouts. The proceeds from the pancake breakfast will go towards their respective projects. They plan to repaint the 50 States Blacktop at Pine Tree Elementary School and create a Lending Library containing books that provide mental health tips/skills at the Monroe Ponds.
Officials from the town of Monroe and Orange County came out to support these young ladies in their pursuit of their Gold Award.
