South Orange Family YMCA officials reported that close to 550 people attended its annual Halloween Family Festival in Monroe, with festively dressed adults and children taking part in a costume contest, pumpkin decorating, trunk or treat, crafts and games. The Y's popular haunted house, created by its Leaders Club, was a hit for all who dared to be scared.
