Walden. Jacobowitz and Gubits welcomes new attorney

Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP has announced that Kara M. Nelson has joined the firm’s litigation team as an associate attorney concentrating in general litigation and landlord tenant matters.

Nelson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Albany in 2014 with a major in American History and a minor in Sociology. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017 from Albany Law School.

Nelson participated in the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Moot Court Competition (2016-2017); Young Advocates Pro-bono Project (2016-2017); Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition (2015); and the Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling Moot Court Competition (2015).

She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Outside of work, Kara enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
