Vivian Elizabeth Cornelius of Harriman passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. She was 72 years old.
Vivian was born on Dec. 13, 1948, to Grover and Betty Cornelius.
She worked for more than 30 years at Nepera, starting out part-time after school.
Vivian is survived by her sisters: Loretta Prall (Brian) of Greenwood Lake, Susan O’Brien (Joe) of Harriman and Beverly Pasquale (Ed) of Arden; brothers: Robert Cornelius of Arden and Stephen Cornelius (Carla) of Cornwall; brother-in-law Steve Wojehowski of Florida, New York; as well as her nieces and nephews: Cheryl and Peter Prall, Joshua O’Brien, Robert Pasquale, Susan Tobin, Li and Allison Wojehowski, Laurie Sanford, Melissa Kurtz, Michael Cornelius and Stephanie and Chelsea Cornelius; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Vivian was predeceased by her parents Grover and Betty; brother Edward Cornelius; sister Cheryl Wojehowski; and her nephew Edward Pasquale.
Vivian was a kind and generous person who went out of her way to help others. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved to spend time with. We loved her so much and will miss her.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harriman Engine Company #1, P.O. Box 26, Harriman, New York 10926 or an animal shelter of your choice.
