Sandra M. Mulligan of Goshen passed away on Sept. 2, 2023, at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 84 years old.
The daughter of Daniel and Constance (Lanza) Einwohner, she was born on July 17, 1939, in the Bronx.
Sandra and her husband lived in Monroe for 46 years where they raised their son.
Sandra retired after 26 years with the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District as a Reproduction Aide to spend more time with her granddaughter.
She was a gifted artist, loved home decorating and was an avid shopper who recruited her granddaughter to be by her side.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 60 years, John C. Mulligan Sr., at home, son John C. Mulligan Jr., and his wife Sabrina of Goshen; sister Carol Palumbo of Mahwah, N.J.; and beloved grandchildren: Amanda and James; and several nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her brother Stuart Einwohner.
Visitation was held Sept. 6 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 7 at St. Columba Church, 27 High St., Chester.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
