Mary H. Marciniak

Mary H. Marciniak of Warwick passed away peacefully into the Arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 14, 2021, at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 96 years old.

The daughter of the late Charles Horton and Anna Moyer Horton, Mary was born on April 10, 1925, in Tuxedo.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Anthony P. Marciniak.

In her younger years, Mary was a bookkeeper in the Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park. She was also retired from the Grand Union Company in Suffern after nearly 30 years.

Survivors include her loving daughter Irene Mason and her husband Rodney of Warwick; sister, Patricia Elston and her husband George of Greenville; three adored grandchildren: Meredith Mason, Ann Mason and Anthony Mason and his wife Amy, all of Warwick; and four beloved great grandchildren: Tristen, Anthony, Andrew and Teagan, all of Warwick.

She was predeceased by her brothers Charles Horton and Jacob Horton and sisters: Frances Mazurk and Elizabeth Dowie. Mary was also predeceased by a twin sister, Annie Horton, on June 9, 1925.

Private services were held on May 19 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. Graveside services followed at St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.

A special thank you to Dr. Silva at St. Anthony Community Hospital as well as the emergency room staff and the ICU staff while our beloved mom and grandma was cared for in the last few days of her life. We would also like to show appreciation to the hospital social worker and the Hospice team for their compassion and dedication. We are all profoundly grateful for them.
