Margaret Pfeiffer of Warwick passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Garnet Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 88 years old.

Born on Sept. 11, 1932, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Patrick and Hannah (McCarthy) Cotter.

Margaret worked at the renowned Playboy Club in McAfee, N.J., back in the day, as a banquet captain and had many great stories to tell from her time working there.

More recently, Margaret loved to participate in the senior club activities, playing bingo and cards and going on trips with her friends and neighbors from Campsite Way.

Her family’s statement reads: “Margaret was a fantastic mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.”

Margaret is survived by her five children: Donna Pfeiffer of Seattle, Wash., Christine McGoldrick of Monroe; Ronald Pfeiffer of Everett, Wash., Patrice France of Lakewood, Pa., and Jeannine Pfeiffer of Closter, N.J.; nine grandchildren: Nichole Moe, Carissa Pfeiffer, Billy Tully, Jamie and Meghan Enriquez, Patrick, Erin and Kelly McGoldrick and Maggic Scalli; and six great-grandchildren: Chloe VanHouten, Aaliyah Read, Dallas, Eli, and Phoenix Moe, and Goldie Enriquez.

She was predeceased by her sister Patsy Antonacci.

Visitation, followed by a funeral service, was held May 8 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
