Kathleen Theresa Clarke, a lifelong resident of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She was 72 years old.
The daughter of Daniel and Margaret Hickey Donoghue, she was born on Jan. 6, 1949, in New York City.
Kathleen was a Medical Administrator for Neurological Institute at Columbia Presbyterian in New York City and for The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
Survivors include her loving husband Bernard J. Clarke at home, her daughters: Christine A. Foley and her husband Coley of Derry, N.H.; and Margaret M. Angeloro and her husband Eric of Monroe; her brother Daniel Donoghue of Sun City, Fla.; and by her beloved grandchildren: Aidan, Owen, Ava, Tessa and Coley. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was also predeceased by her sister Margaret A. Donoghue.
Visitation was held Sept. 17 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 18 at St. Anastasia Church in Harriman.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
