Josephine C. Zarnoch passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, in the Bronx. She was 94 years old.
The daughter of Henry Hesselbach and Marie Schnell Hesselbach. She was born Feb. 24, 1925, in Manhattan, New York.
Josephine was a retired Unit Nurse from Doctors Hospital in Manhattan and a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Highland Mills.
Survivors include her sons: Edward J. Zarnoch of Highland Mills, Chester B. Zarnoch Jr. of the Bronx and Thomas R. Zarnoch of Highland Mills; her daughters: Theresa Weinbrecht of Yaphank, Linda Bellew of Highland Mills, Joan Petrone of Scarsdale and Deborah Iezza of the Bronx; her brother Henry Hesselbach of Norwich Conn., her 14 grandchildren; and her 15 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sept. 3 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick’s Church in Highland Mills on Sept. 4.
Interment followed at Seamanville Cemetery in Monroe.
