Jeanne M. Tuohy

    Jeanne M. (nee Sullivan) Tuohy, loving wife of Andrew Tuohy, devoted mother to Andrew T. Tuohy, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, in Ridgewood, N.J.

    Jeanne graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School and Dominican College in Orangeburg, N.Y., where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in teaching Special Ed Children.

    After having her son Andy, She was a stay at home mom and housewife and worked in her husband’s business, ABC Crating & Rigging Co. in Paterson, N.J.

    Jeanne was a parishioner at St. Paul’s RC Church in Prospect Park as well as a member and secretary to the Legion of Mary. She also taught religious CCD classes at St. Paul’s.

    Jeanne is survived by her Mother Germaine Sullivan; her twin brother John, his fiancée Nicha and their children Rachanon, James and Annabelle; her sister Ann and her son Ricky Tynes; brother Thomas, his wife Diane and their children Kailee, Thomas and Christopher; and her brother James, his wife Vicki and their son Austin. She was predeceased by her father Thomas F. Sullivan Sr., Uncle Robert and Aunt Sr. Irene Beauregard.

    Jeanne will be remembered for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh.

    Due to COVID restrictions, a Celebration of her Life is planned for Spring/Summer 2021 where we can remember and celebrate Jeanne while still safely gathering.
