Ilda Ribeiro passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her home in Monroe. She was 77 years old.
The daughter of Antonio and Joaquina Cambraia Constantino, she was born on May 10, 1943, in Portugal.
Ilda was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed traveling to and attending different churches in the area.
Ilda is survived by her husband Jose Ribeiro at home, as well as her children: son Jay Ribeiro of Monroe; daughter Carla Gitter and her husband Neil of Monroe; and daughter Sandra Ribeiro and her companion Jennifer Fendt of Woburn, Mass. She is also survived by four sisters and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Daniel. Ilda was predeceased by one sister.
Funeral services were held July 14 at Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
