Harvey G. Aronson of Highland Mills passed away at his residence on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023. He was 95 years old.
Harvey was born in the Bronx on May 11, 1928, to Lena (Papelsky) and David Aronson.
Harvey was a civil engineer for the City of New York Transit Authority.
He is survived by his son Cliff E. Aronson, his daughter Valarie B. Hebel, his four grandchildren Edward, Matthew, Bryan and Michele, and his three great-grandchildren Anna, Floyd and Henry; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harvey was predeceased by his wife Naomi, his brother Seymour and his sisters Frances and Yvette.
Friends and family gathered for visitation and chapel services on Aug. 22 at Smith, Seaman, & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. Interment followed at New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale.
