Eileen T. Conanchey passed away on May 3, 2020. She was 87 years old.
She was born on Feb, 20, 1933, in Ireland, the daughter of Thomas and Ann McHale.
Eileen was a member of St. Boniface Church for more than 40 years and Sacred Heart in Monroe for five years. She also was a member of the Suffern Women's Club.
She was a devoted grandmother, an accomplished knitter and an advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association.
She is survived by her three children: Robert Conachey and his wife Shirley, Thomas Conachey and his wife Barb, and Susan Leitner and her husband Kajetan; five grandchildren: Andrew, Kajetan, Fiona, Amara and Markus; brother Anthony McHale and his wife Margaret; 14 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews and cousin Thomas Lynott and his wife Pam.
In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Matthew Conachey; sisters Bridie, Tilda and Kathleen and her brothers John Jo, Michael, Vincent, Frank, Patrick and Thomas.
A private family graveside will be held at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont.
