Edward S. Kapalko

    Edward S. Kapalko passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Edward was 70 years old.
    The son of Steve and Mary Irene Abbott, Edward was born on Jan. 30, 1949 in Brooklyn.
    Edward was a retired engineer and a 37-year resident of Monroe.
    Edward was an avid poker player in the World & Tavern Poker Club. He was also an avid Star Wars fan.
    He is survived by his wife Venice Gratta of Monroe; son Brian Kapalko of Houston, Texas; and daughter Adrienne Kapalko of Dobbs Ferry.
    Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Cremation was at Cedar Hill Crematory.
