David S. Nathan passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at his home in Chester. He was 72 years old.

The son of Erna Daniel and Eric Nathan, he was born on Sept. 7, 1948, in Tuxedo.

David was the owner of Nathan Equipment Company in Chester. He was a past member and Master of Cornerstone Lodge #231 F & AM Monroe.

David is survived by his wife Ann Lombardi Nathan at home; his son Michael Barbella and his wife Maggie of Los Angeles, California; and his daughter Lori Geer and her partner Pete Vaupel of Monroe. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Cameron DeMarco and Reese MacClean; and three great-grandchildren: Makayla, Giovanni and Ava; in addition to many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and by his constant and loving companion Daisy.

Graveside services and interment took place March 23 at Cemetery of the Highlands in Highland Mills.

Due to Covid-19, there will be a celebration of David’s life later this year.
