Arnold J. Briganti of Monroe passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was 92 years old.

The son of Salvatore and Theresa Briganti, he was born in Brooklyn.

He was a resident of Monroe for more than 35 years.

He was a carpenter by trade, and owned Briganti’s Gunsmithing in Highland Mills for 44 years.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, described by many who knew him as a genuine, good guy.

Working at his gun shop was his happy place. He was a highly skilled gunsmith, known for his high-quality work.

He is survived by his son Vincent and wife Janice of Monroe, daughter Jane Briganti of Greece, grandsons Jake Briganti of Monroe and Socrates Anastopoulos of Greece.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Joan Briganti, grandson Max Briganti, brother John Briganti and sister Alma Coglianese.

Visitation was held May 6 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe.

A private cremation service followed at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester.
