    Anthony J. Amoriello of Delray Beach, Fla., a former longtime resident of Monroe, N.Y., passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at Westchester Medical Center. He was 77.

    Son of the late Frank and Filomena Altamuro Amoriello, he was born Aug. 19, 1942, in White Plains, N.Y.

    Anthony was a retired health/physical education teacher at Ramapo Central School District in Ramapo, N.Y. He was a former member of the Monroe and Otterkill Country Club.

    Survivors include his wife, Raeffaela, at home; son, Frank, and his wife, Kerri, of Mount Laurel, N.J.; daughter, Mia McLean and her husband, Robert, of Goshen, N.Y.; grandchildren, Joseph, Deanna and Benjamin; sisters, Maria Piniella of White Plains, N.Y., Sara Scholl of Raleigh, N.C., and Patricia Maurer of Southbury, Conn.

    Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. Cremation will follow at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, N.Y.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
