Anthony C. Ricciardi Sr.

    Anthony C. Ricciardi Sr. of Central Valley passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 80 years old.

    The son of Carmine (Dom) and Giovianni (Jay) De Bernardis Ricciardi, he was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Yonkers.

    Tony worked in many dealerships in the tri-state area as a finance and insurance manager before retiring in 2008

    After his retirement, he worked as a bus driver for the Goshen School District and was a proud member of Yonk-Heers Athletic and Social Club in Yonkers.

    He also was a parishioner at the Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.

    His passions were his family, cooking, the New York Yankees and the New York Jets.

    Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Sandi Molinari Ricciardi of Central Valley; his daughter Regina M. Ricciardi of Monroe; his son Anthony C. Ricciardi Jr. of Central Valley; his granddaughter Isabella Rose Ricciardi (his Pumpkin); his sister Barbara Stilo of Yonkers; along with several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

    Anthony was predeceased by his two brothers, Pasquale and Joseph Ricciardi, and his sister, Carol McLiverty.

    Visitation was held Dec. 22 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.

    A Funeral Mass was held Dec. 23 at the Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still rd., Monroe.

    Interment followed at the Cemetery of The Highlands in Highland Mills.
