Michele Mertens and Chris Ludlow to marry next May

MONROE — Tim and Angela Mertens of Monroe are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele, to Chris Ludlow, the son of Audra Ludlow of Walden and Patrick Ludlow of Newburgh.
Michele is a 2008 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School and a 2011 graduate of Emerson College in Boston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies.
Michele is the Senior Manager of Endurance Events for the National MS Society.
Chris is a 2004 graduate of Wallkill High School and a 2008 graduate of Plattsburgh State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
Chris is a Government Relations Specialist with the Civil Service Employees Association.
A May 2018 wedding is planned.
