Judith A. Burkhart

    Judith A. Burkhart, a longtime resident of Monroe, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 74 years old.
    The daughter of Harry and Ruth Perine DeVoe, she was born March 7, 1942, in Jackson Heights, Queens.
    Judith was a project manager with Indian Point in Tompkins Cove, NY.
    Survivors include: her son Joseph Burkhart of Monroe; her daughters: Jaye Burkhart of Ausable Forks and Jynel Nagle of Kings Park; her brother William DeVoe of Huntington; and 17 grandchildren.
    She was predeceased by her daughter Jody Vite.
    A Chapel Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
    Interment will follow in Cemetery of The Highlands in Highland Mills.
    Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society-Eastern Division, 121 Executive Drive, New Windsor, NY 12553.
