Dane Braffett and Katie Scott to marry this fall

MONROE — James and Juliana Braffett of Monroe and James and Doreen Scott of Valhalla are proud to announce the engagement of their children Dane Edward Braffett and Katie Lynn Scott.
Dane graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School and went on to graduate from Pace University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Katie is a graduate of Valhalla High School and went on to graduate from Stony Brook University with a degree in psychology and then from Long Island University with a Master's degree in general and special education.
Dane is an associate director at Castleton Commodities International in Stamford, Conn.
Katie is a special education teacher also in Stamford.
Their wedding is planned for Nov. 11, 2017.
